Warm-Up

Begin the lesson by having the children do some light stretching and warm-up exercises. This will help to get them ready for the activities ahead. Balance Beam

The children will start by walking on the balance beam. Challenge them to walk the entire length of the beam without stepping off. Once they have mastered this, have them try walking backwards. After that, they can try walking the beam while keeping their arms outstretched. Then, challenge them to walk the beam while hopping on one foot. Finally, they can try walking the beam while hopping on both feet.

Flexibility

In this part of the lesson, the children will practice their flexibility with some stretching exercises. This can include exercises such as toe touches, lunges, and side bends. These exercises will help the children to improve their flexibility, which is an important skill in gymnastics. Encourage the children to take their time and focus on their form while stretching.

The first game is called 'Balance Challenge'. For this game, the children will need to stand on one foot for as long as they can. The child who stands on one foot the longest wins. The second game is called 'Flexibility Challenge'. For this game, the children will need to try and touch their toes as many times as they can. The child who touches their toes the most wins. The third game is called 'Coordination Challenge'. For this game, the children will need to try and jump rope as many times as they can. The child who jumps rope the most wins.

Coordination

During the coordination section of the lesson, the children will practice their coordination with some agility drills. This can include activities such as hopping, skipping, jumping jacks, and other drills that help to improve coordination. The children should be encouraged to challenge themselves and have fun with the drills.

Cool-Down

10 minutes
To cool down, the children should do some light stretching and breathing exercises. Have them start by standing up and reaching their arms up as high as they can. Then have them reach down and touch their toes. After that, have them do some arm circles, starting with small circles and gradually increasing the size. Finally, have them do some breathing exercises, such as deep breathing or counting their breaths. This will help them relax and prepare for the end of the lesson.
