Children will be divided into pairs and positioned along both sides of a net (e.g. a pair of children on one side of the net and another pair of children opposite them on the other side).

One child will stand in front of the net and set the ball for their partner to attack (“spike” the ball with a closed fist).

The pair on the other side will retrieve the ball and replicate what has been done by the first pair; set and attack the ball back over the net.

Pairs take turns and alternate between attacking and setting the ball.
